Lenovo is selling new laptop speakers to help the company expand its global sales, which have been slow to catch up with demand.
Lenovo’s new speakers, dubbed Laptop Speakers, are aimed at the middle class and will sell for around Rs.2,500 ($2,995), according to a listing on Alibaba.
The new laptops are powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8700 CPU, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
The Laptop speakers will also come with Lenovo’s SmartAudio software that allows users to stream music or podcasts from the internet.
“The Laptop Speaker will be a very important product for Lenovo as we continue to push to capture a bigger share of the consumer laptop market in India,” a Lenovo spokesperson told The Wall Street Journal.
The company also recently launched a new brand of business laptops, which include a new model called Laptop Pro.
The Pro comes with a 12.3-inch screen, a 1080p touchscreen display and 4GB RAM.
Lenovo is also selling a new set of laptop speakers called the Laptop Series.
Lenovo also recently unveiled the Laptops Series Laptop Desktop.
It is a 12-inch laptop that comes with two 5-inch screens and a 12MP camera.
