NEW YORK — New Apple laptops, Apple TVs and iPads are among the best laptop brands in the world, according to a new study by research company Macromedia.
Macromedia surveyed more than 3,000 consumers to determine which laptop brands are the most popular in the U.S., with Apple leading the way with 11.6 percent of the global market, followed by Toshiba with 9.3 percent.
Apple and Dell have also been making significant gains, but Apple’s brand loyalty has never been stronger.
Apple has been a leader in new computer products since the late 1980s and has expanded its lineup by offering laptops with the latest technologies in such areas as Touch ID, USB-C, Intel processors and other technologies.
The Macromium study also found that the Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch MacBook Air 13-in, 13-cell, 13K, 13.3-inch, 13R is the most-popular laptop.
Apple’s MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro 12-inch is also the most frequently purchased laptop.
Macmmedia surveyed consumers on their favorite laptop brands and the most valuable brands in their home and office.
The top three brands are Apple, Dell and Toshiba.
Apple’s MacBook Air has been the top-selling laptop for more than a year now, with the most recent sales.
