They tend to be built like PCs, but also tend to have slightly different design philosophies.
That makes the Inspiron series a little harder to review, since you can’t compare the same laptops with the same chassis, or the same batteries, or a similar design philosophy.
We’re here to help.
We’ll break down which laptop keyboard and monitor cover best suits the needs of different users, and we’ll show you which laptop is the best for different needs.
In addition, we’ll look at how to get a decent quality screen, and discuss whether you should buy a gaming laptop or an all-in-one laptop.
The Inspiron lineup isn’t as unique as you might think, though.
The most recent Inspiron L15 7000 series laptop has an Intel Core i5-4300U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 13-inch 1080p display.
If you’re looking for an upgrade to the Inspirions current lineup, there’s no better option than the latest model, the Dell Inspiration 13 7000.

But, instead of using a quad-core CPU, this new laptop uses a four-core processor, and Intel HD Graphics 630.
It has 8GB of memory, and the keyboard can be upgraded to a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen.
Dell doesn’t offer a premium notebook, but there are plenty of laptops that cost around $1,200 or less.
For the most part, the Inspires laptop keyboard is pretty much a perfect match for the Inspiris touchscreen display.

You can add up to four external hard drives as well as a USB-C port.
Dell also offers a USB 3.1 Type-C cable.
We love this port.
