The Dell XPS 13 with a 13-inch 1080p IPS screen is the most affordable gaming laptop of the year.
This is not a competition-winning machine, but the XPS is a powerhouse, and this is a good price-performance ratio.
Dell is offering the Xps 13 for $2,499, down from the $2.99 price of $2 (as of March 15).
It’s still the best price-per-watt laptop on the market, and it can be had for under $2K.
The XPS 15 is a much better deal at $1,499.
Dell says the X PS 15 will be released this summer.
The Dell laptop is also available with a 1080p screen, which we don’t like.

The Toshiba Satellite Tab 10.1 has a 10.2-inch display.
The Asus Chromebook Flip 2 has a 11.6-inch or 11.5″ display.

It also had a 1.7-point performance boost compared to the Dell’s original ThinkPad XPS laptop.

There are a few other options for the top-of-the-line XPS line, like the Asus XPS Max with a 10-inch 5400×1800 IPS display, the Lenovo Yoga 9 Pro with a 7.2″ 1366×768 display, or the Asus T440 Yoga with a 4K display.
Dell’s laptop lineup is $6,499 to $9,999, depending on the model.
