Acer is launching a new range of laptops in the UK, with the first units to be sold from August.
The laptop charger will come with an AC adapter for use with the i7-5500U model of the laptop, and a USB Type-C cable, allowing you to charge the laptop via USB Type A or Type C.
It is a bit odd to see a laptop charger with a USB-C plug attached, given that the device has a Type-A connector.
However, this could just be a case of the charging port being slightly different.
It looks like the i-Power charger, a similar device, will be available from August as well, though the company did not provide a release date.
The first i7 model of this range will be the i6-5900U, which is available to order now.
It comes in two different flavours: the £199 model with an Intel i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 64GB of expandable storage and the £249 model with a Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory, 256GB of expansion storage, 16 gigabytes of RAM and 128GB storage.
You can also choose to buy an i5-6300U with the same processor and 8GB RAM, or an i7 with a lower-priced processor and 16GB RAM.
