The phone runs on Android™ 14 out of the box and is powered by the TSMC’s 4 nanometre fabrication process technology-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform chipset with up to 2.3 million AnTuTu scores which is a quite high AnTuTu score ever. The device comes with a triple-camera setup having a 4K 60FPS 50MP primary Sony IMX 890 lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens with two LED flashlight. The selfie camera is of 16MP capped at 1080p. Additionally, it boasts a giant industry-first new technology dual-cell 6,100 mAh battery with incredibly 100W fast charging. The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro unboxing

The phone comes in orange-coloured box with the phone’s name “Ace 3 PRO” written on the front face of the box. Inside the box, you get SIM card tool, documentation, good quality frosted non-transparent TPU case with big round circle cutout section for the entire camera module, a 100W charging adapter with a 1m type-A to type-C charging cable. The phone does supports 100W fast charging technology. However, phone doesn’t have hole for the 3.5 mm jack. The phone does not feel heavier even though it’s powered by the giant 6,100 mAh battery. Oh my gosh, that’s insane!

Design, colour, in-hand feel and build quality

The phone comes with big circular black island design with triple camera modules and two flashlight modules which look stunning and gorgeous, by the way. The phone comes in three different variants: vegan leather back panel, glass back panel and ceramic back panel. The one with vegan leather back panel gives you lighter feel in hands.

The phone comes with 3D arc design meaning that it is curved on the front and back to give you premium texture and comfortable grip all the time you carry or hold this phone. The camera module is circular similar to vivo X100 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra etc. The phone comes in grey, green and silver colours or in these three editions as given below:

  1. Supercar porcelain collector’s edition (grey colour).
  2. Green field is green edition (green colour).
  3. Titanium sky mirror silver edition (silver colour).

The Mohs hardness is found to be 8.5, so you should not be afraid of any daily friction, be minor or major. It’s carved with well graded metal middle frame. The 3D curved frame gives you premium, excellent and beautiful in hand feel. Ceramic and vegan leather variants will not have any fingerprint impressions and touches on them.

The in-hand feel is very premium and quite lightweight. I think some master engineering has been done there to make this phone quite lightweight, in spite of all these crazy features including the massive 6,100 mAh battery.

The front screen is a 3D curved 8T LTPO 1.5K resolution AMOLED display with super-brightness reaching 4,500nits. I think the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Victus. The phone seems slightly big in small hands, but it does not feel to be that much heavier in hands as it is kept lightweight. The bezels and chins are just very thin. So, thumbs up for that.

Ports and buttons

On the bottom, there is a microphone, USB type-C slot, speaker grill and SIM Card tray slot. The bottom seems quite busy 😀. On the top, you have a noise-cancelling microphone, an IR blaster and a speaker grill. On the right-hand side, it has a dedicated power on-off button and a volume up and down button. On the left-hand side, you can see there is a OnePlus’s original three-stage switch Alert Slider. That’s it. But friend, tell me what you think about the newly launched Lava Blaze X ports and buttons? Comment down below!

Weight, battery and charging

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has a weight of about 209.00gm when I weighted which is good and obvious because of the massive 6,100 mAh battery, which gives you 2 to 3 days of battery backups under average usage. It’s a balanced weight phone as well. The phone charges 100% in 35 minutes with the provided 100W charger. Super in battery and charging department.

Display

If I talk about the display, oh my God! The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has a crazy punchy 450 PPI 6.78-inch 3D curved 1.5K resolution 120Hz AMOLED display with 4,500nits peak brightness. The display does supports easily 120Hz refresh rate with 99.9% working efficiency rate. It’s the modern age required refresh rate display phone at that price. The video viewing angle is also mind boggling. The screen is crystal clear sharp at every corner. One thing is sure that OnePlus Ace 3 Pro stands for its 6,100 mAh battery and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO AMOLED display, specially.

You should not have any problem in visibility under direct or harsh sunlight because of the higher 4,500nits brightness. Display bezels and chin are very-very thin and minimalist. Like other smartphones, it also seems very much modern and premium category mobile phone since it has a 3D arc design and centred punch hole selfie camera display. Brilliant in display department. The display of this phone produces up to 1.07 billion colours, by the way, and the display can go from 1 to 120Hz automatically based on different usage scenarios.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro full specifications

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform CPU. It’s an upgraded CPU with max clock speed up to 3.4GHz and is fabricated on TSMC’s 4-nanometre process, which is again a very-very capable processor under the premium budget segment. If I talk about its scores, it gives us up to 21,15,842 real-life AnTuTu scores. It’s quite high. You can play any games in ultra settings, even Genshin Impact plays at 120 FPS, OMG! So, it provides you such a buttery gaming experience.

It has a dual nano SIM card slot. So, you can only use 2 SIM cards at once and there is no space for SD card. I hoped for at least hybrid SIM card slot. Let me know what you like: dual nano, hybrid or dedicated SIM card slots? Comment down below.

Performance

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro also seems king in performance sector. If I talk about the gaming department of this phone, you can play any games on 120 FPS on highest settings, which is again complimentary considering this price segment. It comes in 12GB, 16GB and 24GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It mainly targets users that play a lot of high-end extreme games, videos or use social sites all the time.

The operating system is based on Android 14, and as usual, they have promised to give 4 year of major android version update (up to android 15, 16, 17 and 18), and 5 years of security updates. Hope, they give timely updates. They also claim that this phone is certified to provide you the same performance for 4 years of non-stop usage (Escort Test). Since it has 3D curved display, so it has Always on Display (AOD) feature, by the way.

Multimedia

As talked, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has vivid 120Hz 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO AMOLED display with 4,500nits brightness. The qualities and colours the display produces are very-very clear and sharp, at every angle as it has 1.07 billion colours to produce. So, it’s a 10-bit display. Hoped, it had a 12-bit display. It does not have the 3.5mm headphone jack. There are mono speakers which are loud and have good base sound quality. So, overall, it’s a very-very good multimedia device.

The phone has IR blaster and all-area multi-function NFC supports for seamless connectivity.

Sensors

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has all sensors like in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and all other sensors are present that we find on any other smartphones, and all of them are working very well, by the way.

Additional features

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has SAR value is within the limit, IP65 certification for dust and water resistance and dual-frequency GPS for positioning, no FM radio app. It also supports Widevine L1, so you can stream video in FHD quality.
